Debating getting into BP revolvers. Anyone got expertise and/or looking to sell supplies or a replica gun? I have an 1861 Navy from pietta on backorder until who knows when. I also ordered a bullet mould.
Super crap time to get into blackpowder with goex shutting down. I have some leftover pyrex from some muzzleloader fun years ago. I figured I could halve a pellet and get about a 30 grain equivalent thereabouts.
I have a 1972 Uberti Colt Dragoon. Brass frame, which I can't seem to find on any of their old catalogs, but it has italian proof marks which leads me to think its the frame that came with the gun. I also have a belt and holster (modeled off an old Civil War style) with wad and lead ball pouches.
I can do $50 for the pound of hodgdon 777 fff powder and percussion caps if you are interested just in them.
I'll do 200 for everything, I'll even throw in a bunch of felt and a grain measure
I have a 1851 colt navy pietta .45 cal and one pound of 777 triple f equivalent along with 100 caps I could sell you if you don't want to wait for the backorder. I shot a total of 18 balls through it flawlessly.
