Hey Now! I'm looking for a good concealed carry revolver. I prefer Smith and Wesson or Colt but not sure what "size" to get. .38 is a good caliber but I'm concerned about barrel length. Too short and the accuracy declines and the kick is worse but the 4" - 6" may be too long. Any suggestions? Thanks so very much!

I have carried a J Frame Smith for close to 20 years. Mine is a 1 7/8" barrel and hammerless. While not the most comfortable to shoot due to the small size, it is very comfortable to carry in a cross draw.
If you like smith and Wesson I would recommend their J frames. You can get them in caliber a from 22mag, .38 and .357 they also come in barrel length from 1.8 inches to 4 inches. In total I think they have around 35 different j frames out now? They personal don't own one but have shoot some that friends own and I like how they feel in the hand not to small not to big. If you're not 100% set on revolvers though the glock 43 is a great 9mm handgun and isn't snappy at all with recoil but if you are worried about recoil the glock 42 in .380 is another great option. Hope this helped.
