Bet you see some trade offers if you post pictures and details of the suburban. Gotta be someone out there with too many pews and not enough burb.

I talked to my FFL and he said the ruling has no bearing on CO law. He is unaware of anything that would allow an FFL to sell a handgun to someone under the age of 21.

You'll probably have better luck selling the truck outright and using the funds to purchase your firearm. If I may recommend, I'd start with a basic AR-15 style rifle and get one soon before HB24-1292 gets signed.

Might check the laws. The Supreme Court just ruled on the age of purchasing a pistol at 18-20 years old from am FFL back in December. Call and FFL and ask if your looking for a pistol.

Hey man, I believe I remember the ruling you are talking about, that was NOT the Supreme Court, that was actually a federal judge in Virginia. As far as I know it is not taken into effect yet

I think it was effective immediately. He should ask an FFL to check into this if he wants to buy a pistol. If the law changed good, if not yet, hopefully it will soon.

Colorado already prohibits sale of handgun to anyone under 21 years of age. Colorado passed law restricting the sale of rifles as well to anyone under the age of 21 on August 7, 2023. Think it was blocked the next day by a federal judge but......
So 21+ for handgun for sure, and 18+ for rifle under appeal?
Always comply with local, state, federal, and international law. Colorado Gun Trader does not become involved in transactions between parties. Report Illegal Firearms Activity to 1-800-ATF-GUNS.
