Open carry is legal without a permit, you may have a loaded fire arm concealed INSIDE your vehicle without a permit. Rifles may have a loaded mag but must have an empty chamber in the vehicle. What part of Colorado? I’m on the western slope but I do as much hunting as I can every season

Colorado gun laws that I can think of off the top of my head to be aware of is there is a 15 round limit here for magazines, the city of Denver doesn't allow for open carry, there is universal background checks for the state so even for private sales you must go through a FFL to have checks ran before the sale takes place.
